This is the beach on the right side of the village. It is a pebbly beach with a shower. From the beginning of May you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas. For two sunbeds and one umbrella the price is 5 Euro. Along the beach you can find some trees which give good shadow. It’s also possible to lay on your towel and watch the sun and hear the sound of the waves.

This beach is on the left side of the village. It’s also a pebbly beach and it has a shower, a chemical toilet and brand new a lifeguard. From the beginning of May you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas. For two sunbeds and one umbrella the price is 5 Euro. This beach is at the entrance of a small river, where you can find turtles. These turtles are very happy, when the children come with bread to feed them. 

Here you see one of the most popular beaches just outside of Ireon. After a walk of about 15 minutes you can reach Papas Beach. This beach is named after its owner who is a priest. The greek word for piest is Papa. He visits the beach very often. from here you can see a beautiful view of the village Ireon and in the distance Pythagorion. To be safe it is better to wear some protective footwear when swimming, because there are a lot of big stones and sometimes sea-urchins.

For those people who prefer a quieter place they can find many secluded bays with beautiful clear water past Papas Beach. If you are a bit of a hiker these will be perfect for you. Always take some water with you, as there is nowhere to buy refreshments along the way, but you will have a view like this.
